Ellis Partners Renovates and Welcomes New Tenants to the Renamed “The Lakes at Bayhill” Office Park

San Bruno, CA – San Francisco-based Ellis Partners, LLC announced today that it has renovated and renamed the three-building “The Lakes at Bayhill” office park.  Ellis acquired the property in October of 2012. Along with the renovation, Ellis Partners has signed 12 lease agreements representing 17% of the project, including companies new to the property and multiple expansions of current tenants.

The property is located three minutes from San Francisco International Airport, boasts 147,555 square feet, and has undergone an interior and exterior facelift with many amenities. The Lakes at Bayhill’s mid-peninsula location means that it is easily accessible from both San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Renovations included updating the lobbies with tiled entries and a new color scheme, renovating bathrooms, planting new trees and landscaping, and building a new “The Lakes at Bayhill” monument to coincide with the new name for the office park.

“We knew this property was a gem.  Now that we have completed the renovations, the market has realized it too,” said Caroline Morris, Senior Vice President Asset Management for Ellis Partners.  “We’ve modernized the property and made it a place where businesses can find the space they need, in the size and configurations they want, and connect with growing companies like themselves,” he added.

Recent additions to the property tenant mix include the LASIK Vision Institute; SupersonicAds, Inc.; and Urban Chalet. For companies like SupersonicAds, they count this San Bruno location among a half dozen offices worldwide. Existing tenants renewing and expanding include Numerate; Devicescape Software, Inc.; Balance Therapeutics; Talent Circles; C. Kell-Smith & Associates, Inc.; Richard Avila; Tiret & Co; and GBO Technologies.

“Moving Devicescape to the The Lakes at Bayhill allowed us to expand into a more open office layout and double the size of our company,” said Brenda Gabatino Senior Accountant and Administrator at Devicescape Software, Inc. “We appreciate the newly renovated lobbies which help create a welcoming environment for our clients. Even better, the location allows our employees an easy path to SFO via BART to fly to our locations and clients around the world,” she added.

“We work in the aircraft noise insulation business,” said Carla Kell-Smith of C. Kell-Smith & Associates, Inc.  “We moved here 18 years ago and haven’t left.  Being proximate to the airport is critical for us.  The fact that the property has been renovated so well is a huge bonus,” she added.
