John Osmond rejoined Ellis Partners in April 2026 as a Partner, assuming asset management and leasing leadership for multiple projects across the Ellis Partners portfolio.

Prior to rejoining Ellis Partners, John was the Executive Vice President and Head of Asset Management for Kilroy Realty, where he was responsible for the company’s asset management and operations of its office, retail, life science, and residential portfolios. He has held leadership positions at Broadreach Capital Partners, Equity Office Properties, and Spieker Properties. In his prior experience with Ellis Partners, John was part of the team that acquired and repositioned Oakland’s Jack London Square and Town and Country Village in Palo Alto. He began his career at Trammell Crow Company, managing industrial portfolios in the San Francisco Bay Area. In addition to asset management and operations, John has more than two decades of experience in leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, and development throughout the Western United States, delivering value across diverse property types and submarkets.

John received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Real Estate Management, from California State University East Bay. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and NAIOP.
