Pleasanton, CA – Ellis Partners LLC announced today that IntegenX, a leading manufacturer of molecular biology and biotechnology solutions, has committed to a lease for expansion of the company’s current headquarters at the Hacienda Business Park in Pleasanton. The expansion will add an additional 13,680 square feet to the company’s existing 15,787 square foot space at 5720 Stoneridge Drive, which includes administrative offices and manufacturing facilities.
“This significant expansion will accommodate our strategic increase in operations, providing the collaborative environment needed to invent and develop the next generation of life science tools,” said Stevan Jovanovich, Ph.D., President and Chief Executive Officer at IntegenX.
IntegenX relocated to the Hacienda Business Park from Dublin in April 2010. The current site is home to 62 employees and features a micro-fabrication facility, custom-designed laboratories for the company’s research and development, and manufacturing space for commercial operations, which allows the company to rapidly prototype microdevices for use by life science research laboratories worldwide.
“We are pleased to continue to provide innovative space solutions to suit the unique business needs of specialized tenants, such as IntegenX,” said Matt Wickens, Senior Development Manager at Ellis Partners LLC.
The deal represents the second significant lease agreement since Ellis Partners LLC acquired the property in the fall of 2010. Paul Sheehan, Dave Bruzzone, and Dan Watson at Cornish & Carey Commercial Newmark Knight Frank represented the landlord. Jim McPhee of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant. The lease commences March 1, 2011.
