A tenant at Jack London Square since 2005, Parsons Brinckerhoff signed an early renewal for an additional three years. The organization now occupies 5,626 square feet at 70 Washington, which it uses as a project office for marketing, customer service, public education and outreach. Parsons Brinckerhoff worked with the property’s ownership to expand its office space mid-way through the current lease in order to keep up with growth and business productivity.
“Jack London Square works well for our employees,” said Debbie Maus, Senior Technical Specialist for Parsons Brinckerhoff. “The property has great connectivity to many forms of transit. I commute myself most days from Sacramento on Amtrak. Having the ability to get to our workplace solely on public transportation is a huge plus for our staff. Not to mention getting to work on a gorgeous waterfront all week.”
Local CPA firm Timpson Garcia LLP, a full service accounting and consulting firm that was first established in Oakland in 1924, is renewing their current lease early at 70 Washington for another six years. Timpson Garcia has been a tenant since 2002 and currently occupies 5,011 square feet of office space. A representative from Timpson Garcia stated the firm appreciates the professional environment, quality management, amenities including a range of dining options and spectacular views.
“During busy season, a sizeable amount of our staff needs to work seven days a week and often into the night,” said Dennis Kaneshiro, Managing Partner, Timpson Garcia LLP. “It’s very important for them that we feel we have a safe, comfortable working environment with all they need. It’s also important for our firm that we can present the professional image that Jack London Square affords. Our firm has a long legacy in Oakland and we’re excited to extend our tenancy here.”
